Based on the Columbia thread, it looks like it took Cravath a few days to send callbacks out. We shall see!

Is it just me or do firms seem to be moving really slowly this year?

In people's experience based on CB's received (and not received, if assumed ding), are firms focusing more on 1L fall grades or 2L grades? Meaning, if you had a 3.2 after 1L but a 3.6 after this semester, how are the 3.6+ and 3.4+ firms treating you?

CLS person here. For reference, Cleary NY came out two days after our EIP ended; PW NY the day after EIP ended.

Seeking advice: a delayed grade just came out and it substantially dragged down my gpa, which is now around median. Should I be worried that this issue might be brought up during callbacks that I got prior to the release of this grade? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

NYU 3L lurking on this thread because I'm curious what firms are up to re: pandemic hiring.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 5:13 pmSeeking advice: a delayed grade just came out and it substantially dragged down my gpa, which is now around median. I obviously can't speak to the specifics of your situation (no one can - we've never had a hiring cycle like this one), but FWIW, no interviewer ever asked me about a specific grade other than congratulating me on my one A+ (which was an outlier from my otherwise pretty average GPA). I was terrified that I was going to be asked about "what happened" in my worst class, but it never even remotely came up.
Good luck on your callbacks, remember that once you've cleared your screener, it's mostly about "clicking" with the firm.

My experience is that they're taking grades less seriously. Does anyone know what percentile is 3.36 at? Is it at median or slightly above?
