Interested in corporate. I like the idea of the rotation system quite a bit, but also primarily interested in M&A/capital markets. I like that Skadden is social, but am a bit nervous of too much cross-over between home and work life. The people at all three have seemed pretty great––DPW seems a bit quieter than the other two (which may be a con), but perhaps the most genuine. Cravath people seem most similar to me, but worried about the hard-core gunner types that I may not yet have been exposed to. Long-term interested in partnership or in-house opportunities, probably not moving to another firm.

You may not get the rotation you want at CSM especially because their M&A practice got diminished (less volume of work, less interesting work, less esteem), since the departure of many partners from that group since 2016. Rotation system actually works against you as you get more senior, because you will not develop the right set of skills to be specialized, which is what a lot of companies (when hiring outside counsel, or hiring for in house position) seek. DPW and Skadden maintain strong reputation in the practice areas you mention, but given Skadden's fratty culture, which you apparently don't like, I'd recommend DPW. DPW capital markets, for example, is on fire this year and going very strong.
