Searching document management system

My law firm employs some heavy hitter appellate litigators. I’m interested in looking at some of their briefs — both out of curiosity and to help work on my own writing. Is it it ok to search their names in the document management system? Has anyone gotten in trouble for doing so?

I've never heard of someone getting in trouble for this and if these heavy hitters wanted the documents to be private, I'm sure they could figure out how to arrange that. But aren't they also publicly available on pacer?
