Home Office Chairs?

What are folks recommending for home office chairs? I'm thinking something more reasonable than a Herman Miller. Ideally more in that $200 to $300 range.

I bought a Staples Kroy mesh chair, it’s been decent.

If you're in NY, I think Herman Miller has an outlet in NJ somewhere.

Hermann Miller Aeron. Get one for $4-500 from office outlets - they sell them cheap when big companies over order. Recommend springing for the extra lumbar pad and such - you can sit in it for hours and hours and feel no soreness, at all.

For Herman Millers, does the fabric ever sag? I've always wondered that. Anyone happen to recommend a outlet or something for them in the San Francisco Bay Area? I always worry about used furniture like chairs to be defective somehow. Something of concern or no?

Steelcase (particularly the Leap v1 and Leap v2) are comparable / competitive with Herman Miller Aeron, as solid long-lasting and highly adjustable and comfortable office chairs.
They cost about $1000 new and come with a great warranty. If you don't want to pay that much, you can try to find one on Craigslist or you can use a "gray market" site like madison seating to buy one that is refurbished. That's what I did -- I got a Leap v2 for ~500 from them. It's solid and I think I got lucky in that nothing on it is broken (some of the reviews are scary) but I also don't think it's quite as spiffy as a true/new one, and it doesn't have a meaningful warranty.

I would jump on this ASAP before the sale ends. Steelcase is a very reputable brand that is a direct competitor to Herman Miller. CNN rated this chair as their top office chair pick for 2020.
