TIP/TARE Tax LL.M 2021

Has anyones school given them any solid info regarding TIP/TARE 2021? I'm assuming programs will be virtual, but not sure how that will work out. Also, do we think the hiring rates will be much lower than in past years? Currently have an offer that I'll probably have to respond to before TIP/TARE in spring and it's lower than I'd like, so trying to weigh my options. Don't want to reject and then have a fruitless spring recruiting situation. In the past, do all the Big 4 recruit here, or do a couple of them finish their recruitment in fall? Any info welcome!

Quick google search, GT has info on TIP 2021. Couldn't find info on TARE but should probably be around the same time as TIP as previous years. Accept and explore options in spring, no one knows what's going to happen next year. I'll suggest trying to look at class of 2008/2009 threads. Hopefully someone from that year can chime in.

Thanks! found TARE dates as well, must have been updated recently because I had checked a bit ago. I've heard from a few people now to accept and continue looking if I'm not content, but how bad does it look to accept now and then bail? Granted it's for a position for a year from now and things can change which I'm sure the employer understands, but don't want to create any bad blood.

It'll definitely burn bridges with the firm but your career takes priority. They can easily find someone else to take your spot. Making offers a year out is risky, I've heard of people reneging and they went on to have successful careers.

Over the course of a year, circumstances can change for employers or for future employees which leads to an offer being rescinded by the employer or refused by the prospective hire after offer and acceptance. This may or may not burn a bridge as each situation is different.

Did you have work experience? Also, which program did you attend? Grade range if possible, too?
Thank you!

I could be wrong, but I believe international? I think EY's group that covers M&A is their TTA. Again, not 100% sure...on that note, has anyone heard back from EY TTA?

That video platform InternX was just awful. Felt like a roll of the dice on whether the interviewers would be visible or even audible.

Has anyone heard back from Deloitte IT or M&A?

Had double-digit interviews and have heard nothing (mix of law firms and accounting firms). The career counselor at NYU said this year was going to be odd and that results would trickle out slowly.

I interviewed with multiple Deloitte service lines. Got an automated email requesting my service line preferences that needed to be completed by March 10 at 12PM. Guessing some of the firm's results will come after that point.

I had opposite thing happen...Before TARE got an email from PWC saying we aren't going to continue with you for this position, but then when interviews came out they gave me an interview and now a callback...confused to say the least, but I'll take it.
