Postal Service Of Legal Documents Lately (issues)

Is anyone else noticing issues with the mail running CRAZY slow for legal sized envelope but plenty fast for regular envelope mail? Any impact on how you are doing filing, service, etc? I tend to file cases in areas other than where I physically am during the day, so I can't always hand deliver to the clerk. Plus sending copies with proof of service to parties is often just easier by mail too, especially when they are requesting them and using signature delivery confirmation.

I have sent letters that get there 2 days later (used to take 3) but anything sent the size of a legal envelope lately is taking 15 days or longer (used to take 3, maybe 4) and that is true for both delivery confirmation and regular stamp only mail that people mail to me as well. Even the post mark tends to be a few days late from day dropped in box, and then around two weeks until after post mark to get delivered.

It's odd that its not impacting regular sized envelopes but the larger envelopes are being effected drastically. Anyone else having issues with this? Its not just one location either. I've sent from multiple locations to multiple locations. Even with mailbox rule and proof of service, it still is a huge wrench in things.
Stuff seemed to slow down SOME when covid started, but seems MUCH worse now.

Not OP, but some states still don’t have e filing systems at all. One that comes to mind is Virginia, at least when I last checked a year or two ago.

This is OP. Some courts that I work with allow e-file (some require it) but not all even allow it.

Plus serving stuff to third parties is not always possible if they aren't part of the system. There are a variety of reasons. Plus, just mailing stuff (even if not work related)

Anyone else notice that larger legal sized envelopes taking longer but envelopes moving just fine? I ask again since I do not see any answer to the question in the responses.
