Just out of curiosity, what's deal flow like now, and what are people's expectations for the upcoming months? I did my summer in an M&A group and it was pretty slow.

Anecdotally, at my V50 west coast firm, M&A is pretty hot. After a slow March/April while a lot of deals went pencils down, May-July has been super busy. I've heard friends at similar firms (west coast) say the same.

Is it tech/life sciences? I heard those practice areas have been especially busy.
