Recent grad job hunt

Hi. I'm a recent grad. I had gov/state gov internships in law school. But didn't get any of the fellowships/honors attorney positions. I'm willing to work anywhere, midsize firm, gov, nonprofit, anything legal or policy related. I'm having challenges finding anything hiring now. I went to a good law school (albeit mediocre grades), and its too late to try for a clerkship for this year.

My bar is postponed to October and results won't come out til January. 'm willing to work anywhere. My school hasn't had many job posts. All the psjd posts require bar membership. Where do you recommend looking?

What geographic region? One approach can be to try and get a law clerk position with a firm and then demonstrate yourself through your work and hope to impress and get hired as an Associate. Plus, you would gain experience in the interim plus a paycheck.

Unfortunately, things probably won't start to look up until you've passed the bar. One often-overlooked option is a state-court clerkship. Even though it's short notice, there's a chance that you can still snag one and you usually don't have to pass the bar to start working (though a judge might prefer it).
