How long to wait post-interview?
Recent grad and finished interviewing with a firm about 6 weeks ago. Followed up about 3 weeks ago and they said they were still interviewing/figuring out head count. At one point do i give up on them?

Re: How long to wait post-interview?
Six weeks post-interview is a long time for anything except the government. Most likely they're waiting for the selected candidate to begin working before issuing rejections. But there are no absolute rules and some employers just happen to be extremely slow.

Re: How long to wait post-interview?
I've never had a firm get back to me after six weeks with good news. I have had one wait that long to reject me, though.
I'd say don't hold your breath. They COULD come through, but with that time frame it isn't extremely likely.

Let's be honest, it's COVID-19 era so a lot of things are in the air. I'd roll with the punches unless you have another offer waiting.

Congrats OP, that's great news! Even though they kept you waiting, that's a rare positive outcome.
Good luck with your hopefully final round of interviews.
