Does anyone have any experience with these jobs? They look far more interesting than practicing law and often prefer people with JDs. Just curious if anyone has any firsthand experience.

Depending on the type of law you would like to pursue, I would not describe the AML investigator position as super interesting. I am in the investment management space and AML includes an incredible amount of tedious paper work that banks are constantly chasing down. Sure, maybe you get an instance of a person on the UN's restricted list trying to invest, but I would assume that is once in a blue moon. There are also new regulations coming out at all times from different countries, so you need to be up to date, and constantly telling customers/clients how to complete forms. I realize I am on the other side of the AML process, and a person in the specific position may be able to provide more info, but just my two cents.
