I don’t know enough to determine, only you can do that research. I had a similar offer from a company that had its stock at historic lows and actually did layoffs while I was interviewing. They are doing fine, though, and the team in still intact. I didn’t accept for location reasons but I would’ve.

Honestly, nobody can really tell you if your company will do massive layoffs in the future. Even if we knew the company, we wouldn't be able to tell you. No job move is going to be 100% risk free.

I will say that it sounds like a great offer. If you don't think you will be out of a job in the next 2 or 3 years, you should absolutely take it. You can use your in house experience to get another job.

I agree that it sounds worth the risk, especially if you’re miserable in Biglaw. I wasn’t even that miserable in Biglaw, relatively speaking, but I recently moved in house to a pretty chill job and I can’t tell you how much my life has improved.

Agree with everyone. I was in a similar situation except I didn't hate my job and ended up taking an in-house role and my quality of life is way better. Assuming the company isn't on the verge of bankruptcy, definitely take it
