Employment History -- 2L SA -- Question

I worked at a company before law school that went bankrupt & won't be able to verify my employment. Is that going to be a problem?

Similarly, my 1L summer job was a research work externship with one person and the broader organization might not have a record of me being there (I was remote). The person no longer works there. Any thoughts on if that would be an issue or how to deal with it?

It won't be a problem, but it may cause a delay during C&F.
Some states aren't as thorough, but if your state uses NCBE, they will send a letter to every previous employer, and only after they don't hear back will they reach out to you. Then you will need to send a letter of explanation, which will be sufficient.

As mentioned, it's eventually going to be something you need to explain. So if you have documentation related to hiring/leaving, find and save it now. Also, if you have contact information for someone else who worked there when you did, that can be an acceptable reference for C&F.
