I am at a Mid-Sized firm and my salary went from $130K to $135K. Maybe I am just being greedy, but I was hoping for an increase more than 5K... At this rate, I shouldn't expect any major salary raises while at this firm.
Is this normal for most midsized firms?

Even in NYC, for non-Cravath scale firms a $5k annual raise is pretty typical.notinbiglaw wrote:Depends on market but overall, yes, this is pretty common for midsized firms.

How much did you bill this past year? Can you make the argument that you'd cover a 10,15 or 20k raise?
