Does anyone know of any stories in which Davis Polk didn't pay out year-end bonus due to low billable hours? Trying to gauge how worried I should be.

I used to work at Davis Polk. Unless the firm has changed dramatically in the time since I worked there, that simply wouldn't happen. They even pay a full bonus to people with whom they've had the "why don't you take the next three months and look around at your other options" conversation.
