Would welcome any advice for deciding between the three. All SF litigation.

Any other information you can provide as to what you’re looking for? Specific litigation areas you’re interested in? More free-market/unassigned versus assigned? Want to specialize or be a generalist for a while? Want to stay in SF for a while? Any additional info you can provide will be helpful

When did you interview with MoFo/hear back?

But agreed with the poster above, need more info before we can help.

From what I have seen, all three would be quite good for litigation. Unless there is a specific practice group you are interested in, I'd pick based on fit.

You won't have an office at Latham sf ( completely open floorplan), so keep that in mind.

I believe you get an interior office as a second year (not sure, I work in a different latham office, but I know for a fact that my classmates in SF still do not have offices). I'm frankly impressed they managed it hide it from you guys at interviews. If you are curious about what they look like, ask to see the 19th floor if and when you do your touchbacks.

I cancelled my callback there so I never saw the office in person. Honestly that's wild they have an open floorpan, it's impossible to have confidential phone calls in that kind of environment and it's so difficult to focus to get work done.

Isn't this just a summer (not when you join as associate)? Anything else to bear in mind between these firms beyond floor plans? (lol)

If that is what they told you, you have been lied to. The first years sit in a completely open floorplan.

Co-signing that SF LW first years sit in an open floor plan, but I'm surprised they didn't move them out when the summers started. That's what they did when I was there (at LW but not that office).

original latham anon here: i haven't checked in with my SF classmates for a while, so it's possible they moved out when the summers started.

that being said, the first few months are probably your hardest as a junior, and I wouldn't want to deal with that in an open office floorplan...

Assuming you are the OP - it’s kinda hard to give you advice when you won’t provide any other info of what you’re looking for
