I was wondering if there are significant differences in the work being done at government agencies between different administrations . Is the work the attorneys are doing benefitting different groups, or is it that the scale of what is being done is different? For example, is DoL/NLRB siding with management a lot more under a republican administration, or are they just investigating less cases? I'm assuming the first one, but have only talked to a couple people about this so would be interested in other perspectives.

Answers from anyone with experience in a Gov agency would be helpful. Thanks.

I think it really depends both on the agency and the function you’re talking about. I work for an agency and the feeling is that enforcement has been impacted less overall than the actual regulatory divisions, which have a different focus than they almost certainly would have under a different administration. But the changes are probably a lot starker at somewhere like the CFPB or the EPA.
