I'm at Penn. Was dinged at Pepper Philly on Aug. 13 (no callback and original interview July 30) but haven't heard anything from Duane Morris Philly.

If I haven't gotten a CB from a firm but also haven't gotten dinged & know people who have gotten CBs & dings there, is there a chance this late in the game that I might get a CB if others turn down their offers? They sent out CBs on Friday

Oh dang, thanks. I heard from some of the other Philly firms so fast in comparison that I was starting to worry about those two. Guess they just move slow.

It's possible and has happened before but keep in kind that there are people who have received callbacks and no offers. In other words, if you didn't receive a callback initially you are on a waitlist to get on the waitlist of people who did receive callbacks but no offers. I presume they will first tap their callback waitlist before going to people who didn't receive callbacks. And some firms callback a lot of people compared to the number of offers they extend so their waitlist is deep.

Not a Georgetown student, but I had callbacks at both those firms last week. I met someone from GT on my PH callback. PH said they were wrapping up callbacks early this week, and Duane similarly said they would be wrapping up shortly. Additionally, if anyone is still waiting for Drinker Biddle, their last day of callbacks is next Monday. I think it's fairly safe to say if you haven't heard about callbacks from those three firms, you're probably out of the running. Sorry

I followed up with a DC firm and received an email back that they “would be in contact again soon”, so either they’ve been slow/I’m on their B list or I’m getting a final ding soon.

I also got a Hughes Hubbard song today, so I think they’re taking time to respond individually.

I got a ding from Baker Hostetler DC (Interviewer TJ & PP) via email, and the only problem is that I did not have interview with the firm, nor those interviewers . . .

I also followed up with a DC firm and they said the recruiter would be in touch if they were interested in further pursuing my candidacy lol so that's a sugar-coated no with fewer liabilty concerns if u ask me
