Rising 3L at a T30 that went from bottom of the class to its outside top 30%. Thinking of trying 3L OCI but I realize this may not work out.

Can someone explain what the process is like? Should I start sending emails to firms now and, if so, who do I send them to? Partners? Recruiters? Or, if it’s worth it, should I focus on trying to set up informal phone calls?
