Did anyone apply to the recent openings in the Consumer Protection Branch or Federal Programs Branch? I am trying to break into DOJ and not really interested in criminal work. I was wondering if anyone was in the same boat and heard back.

Just know that DOJ Consumer Protection does criminal as well as civil work. If you get an interview and say you are only interested in civil work, that will definitely hurt you. Here's the link for the branch's practice areas. https://www.justice.gov/civil/practice-areas
