Top Law Schools

Apologies for the interruption. Does anyone have any advice as to how (or whether it is even possible) to lateral as a law clerk? I've passed the bar and I am in the process of being admitted, but I have a very strong feeling that my firm is an incredibly bad fit for me and I need to find a different firm to switch to.

Is it even possible to lateral before you are admitted? Will people even consider you? Thanks in advance for any advice.
