Goodwin Funds Group
Does anyone have any input on goodwin’s Funds group? I’ve heard it’s a great QOL form in the sense of avoiding the v20 grind while also having great prestige but was wondering if anyone has any experience there.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Goodwin Funds Group
They're a great team. I'm across from them regularly, and they're well respected, as they're always very professional, good at what they do, and almost always nice to work across, which is not something to be taken for granted in a team. Given my email traffic, I agree that they likely have good QOL, as I'm generally not getting docs from them on the weekends (as opposed to K&E that routinely tries to hose people).

Re: Goodwin Funds Group
Within Goodwin, the funds group is the premier example of QOL. Whenever someone is talking about QOL, the funds group is always mentioned as an example. Obvi, "QOL" doesn't mean easy--just means constant grind from like 9-6 or whatever throughout the year without chunks of slow time like deal teams.

Does Goodwin have a cut off? Are they known to consider a below-median applicant from a top law school with relevant WE?

I'm at a lower t14 where the NY Goodwin office recruits below median.Anonymous User wrote:Does Goodwin have a cut off? Are they known to consider a below-median applicant from a top law school with relevant WE?
