Timing and Rejections for In-house

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Apr 25, 2019 7:56 pm

For people who are in-house or moving in-house,

1. how did you get your position?
2. how long was the application process?
3. how many rejections did you get before you got your offer?
4. transactional or litigation?

Thanks.

I ended up declining but:

1. Unsolicited email from an attorney who was the team lead

2. Took about 1.5 months from contact to offer

3. 0

4. Corporate

1. Networking
2. About 3 months.
3. I have no idea. The vast majority of places I applied to never responded to my application. Or they got back to me 6 months later rejecting me. Overall, maybe 75. Of those, only a handful got off the ground.
4. Corporate.

1. Applied from an online job posting
2. About 3 months from application to offer
3. Including only applications which resulted in at least a screening interview, about 6-8.
4. Transactional

I'm currently in the process of trying to make the move, with four pending interview processes at various stages. The two that are nearing the end have been pending for 1.5 and 2.5 months.
