For people who are in-house or moving in-house,
1. how did you get your position?
2. how long was the application process?
3. how many rejections did you get before you got your offer?
4. transactional or litigation?
Thanks.

1. Networking
2. About 3 months.
3. I have no idea. The vast majority of places I applied to never responded to my application. Or they got back to me 6 months later rejecting me. Overall, maybe 75. Of those, only a handful got off the ground.

Re: Timing and Rejections for In-house
I'm currently in the process of trying to make the move, with four pending interview processes at various stages. The two that are nearing the end have been pending for 1.5 and 2.5 months.
