NYC recruiter recommendations

Can anyone recommend me a recruiter in NYC (or any to avoid)? Also, at what level will big firms pay recruiter fees. I am a second year looking to make a lateral move within the next 6 months or so. Appreciate any insight.

I've worked with a few headhunters and Crossdale Paul were the best.
