Anyone fired twice from biglaw success stories?

5th year, second time getting axed. First time happened at end of second year. First firing was due to lack of effort second is due to conflict with one partner. I still think overall I'm a good associate with a great skill set and looking to land at another firm during my severance period. Any success stories of something similar happening? Should I just give up on biglaw?

Don't despair if you would like to have a few more years of biglaw. If you check out the Linkedin profiles of many V100 associates in their 7th-9th years, you'll see that a not insignificant number have been at three firms. As a fifth year, you should have at least one more lateral move in you, if you want it.

You’ve made it five years. If you want another gig,you can get one. Just apply again. Not uncommon for someone to have three firms under their belt as a senior.
