Ok, fair enough. I probably overreacted, haven't really slept in a couple days. I do have a credit card, although only approved for a pretty modest amount which I maxed out since 0% interest and I transferred my balance from the card I lived off of during bar prep. It's not like I'm living hand to mouth. But I only have about $800 float after I wait for ~$700 in reimbursements for ubers/meals/trains/etc. for other callbacks over the last month. That felt reasonable while making payments on cards/student loans.Anonymous User wrote:You're being unreasonable here. Also get a damn credit card and float it. I fail to see how that impacts paying rent. You sound ridiculous.
Also, "tons" of callbacks? Ok.
That said, just talk to the recruiter. They'll understand, can likely put it on a firm card, and have no say in hiring.

Thanks. As I noted above normally it would be fine, it's just all the other expenses related to callbacks over the last couple months that I haven't gotten reimbursed for yet (and a couple hundred that won't be reimbursed).2013 wrote:Nice use of anon.Anonymous User wrote:You're being unreasonable here. OP, you’re not being completely unreasonable. Usually it’s only lower tier firms that use this tactic. However, you should try to figure your life out if a $1200 hit means the difference between paying rent and not paying rent.
Good luck with all of your interviews
