Trying to figure out if I am being paranoid (probably yes) - I accepted an offer for a 2L biglaw SA and the firm acknowledged my acceptance all in writing. This was in early fall and since then I haven't heard anything. Is this normal? If so when should I expect to hear again from the firm regarding this summer.

When they contact, probably with more detail about dates and pay and stuff. I wouldn't stress.

I accepted an offer in August to begin the following May, and didn't hear anything until April.

Don't worry - I accepted my offer in early August and I only got something from the firm yesterday, which was an email saying "be on the lookout for info in April."

Yep, pretty normal to only hear a little more in late Spring. If you need to check re a wedding or something concrete, feel free to reach out to Recruiting to say hi and send a breezy email re your commitment to XYZ event, and you wanted to make sure it was OK to fly on a Friday or whatnot. GL!

Most of my classmates haven't heard anything since accepting offers. I've been sent background check documents and the holiday gift, but most people I know haven't gotten anything. If they sent an offer in writing and you accepted then I don't think there is anything to worry about. I didn't hear anything for months before they sent forms for background checks etc.
