Re: Quinn Emanuel - Boston
Is there an opening there right now for which you are being considered?
My impressively-credentialed friend works there and has a great experience. Tons of work from home (lower mid level associate), he says.
Also, wondering if anybody has seen the new offices. Are they shabby like nyc or nice? What’s the stated annual hours requirement and what’s the actual expected annual hours requirement?
If I was going to lateral from my highly ranked amlaw100, this is probably one of the few spots I’d seriously consider going.

friend who summered in the DC office said they worked them like dogs (frequently until midnight during the week and always weekend work) and that they are cheap AF – had to ask clients if it was ok to turn on the AC in the office (in the summer) because it would be billed to them.

Unfortunately cheap af seems to be true. I interviewed with QE for another office and got that rumor confirmed by multiple attorneys.

Last I heard the minimum hours requirement was 2100 with higher bonuses for 2400 and 2800
