Lateral Offer Timing

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Dec 20, 2018 7:45 pm

Curious, for those that have gone through lateral hiring (as a biglaw associate), whether you've noticed patterns as to timing.

I've been getting quick dings (post-screener or -callback) but the few offers I've had in have taken a week+ each. Wondering what others have experienced.

Really going to depending on the firm, office and/or practice group. When I lateralled, I got my offer a day after my call back. We also just made an offer to a lateral associate a few days after he/she had a call back.
