Recruiter lock-out period

I used a recruiter back in May. I didn’t end up getting an interview. The recruiter reached out in September to confirm.

My experience in the area has grown so I wanted to reapply.

I know that recruiters have you locked in for around 6 months or so. Is that after first contact or last contact? Also, is it 6 months or longer?

Shouldn't you know how to read your contract?

It should be 6 months since they submitted your materials to the firm

I think the contract is between the enployer and the recruiter. I don’t know which recruiters you’ve worked with before, but I’ve never had to sign a contract.

Malibustacy gives an ignorant answer. What a shocker.
