So law firms make offers by regular mail?

I'm expected a snail mail but could mean a ding?

Generally, offers will be extended over the phone. You will then receive a written offer in the mail, often via FedEx overnight. But there are some firms that are moving to email only, presumably to save on FedEx costs. The email offer is already pretty common outside the legal world.

If you haven't received any phone calls or emails from the firm, very unlikely the physical letter will be an offer.
