How stringent is Deloitte about the requirements for JD/LLM applicants to have an undergraduate degree in accounting or tax?

+1. Deloitte prefers those with an undergrad degree in accounting/something related to accounting such as business, econ, etc. You don't have to have a CPA for any specialty group but it helps a lot to get your foot in the door and for the job in general.Anonymous User wrote:Deloitte is the one Big 4 that really wants an accounting degree. I dont know any LLM that works there in a speciality group without a CPA
Not sure. If anything, KPMG should be the better option since it has a pension.Yugihoe wrote:Why the barrier? Are they a better firm or pay more out of the other 3? Assume there has got to be something if they can afford to be selective on this front?
Deloitte has a pension after 3 years i think. Pay ranges pretty wildly for JD/LLMS dependent on market, service line, etc. Probably ranges a lot for the other big4 too.Anonymous User wrote:Not sure.
