Long shot, but does anyone have any info on Gordon Rees starting salary in the major markets? (Say, LA/SF/NY) Even if not starting, salary info for experienced attorneys would be helpful, there isn't much out there on glassdoor, etc. besides reviews claiming its "low." I'm considering applying for a position, but don't know what "low" means. Any help would be appreciated

I'm not exactly sure but I think large insurance defense firms start around 85k. I would apply. If you do employment you can easily lateral in 2 years.

Experienced make low six figures. Like 100 to 125k

Could you lateral from others areas like i) toxic torts ii) products ? If so, where?

Products is probably easier. And more interesting. Yes, you can lateral. But I would not do 100% toxic tort. That might be problematic. Some big law firms do that stuff.
