I would love to work at an LA boutique firm after law school. What would be the beat approach to getting there. I’m interested in LTL Attorneys, Hueston Hennigan, Miller Barondess, or pierce Bainbridge. Anyone have any experience with any of these firms and what they look for?

HH looks for people with top-tier credentials (very good grades at HYS or tippy-top grades at T14/SC/LA; federal clerkship; etc.). LTL and Miller Barondess look for folks with pretty good credentials who have previous law firm experience. I've never heard of Pierce Bainbridge. This is also a weird combination of boutiques - they are all fine firms, but I don't understand why you would look at these firms but not, say, Bird Marella or Kendall Brill.
