I'll be joining the funds group next fall but I don't know too much about it. Any suggestions for classes to take to get ready? My school's, got a Private Equity/Hedge Funds course that I'm hoping to take next semester, but what else should I keep an eye on?

Anything covering the Investment Company Act

I'd also look for anything compliance-related. Not as sexy as the other stuff, but def relevant.

I talked to a fund attorney with whom I may work with next summer. He suggested securities regulation, tax, and bankruptcy.
