Big Four/big accounting recruiting for 2L summer

Hey everyone,

Does anyone know if/when the big four accounting firms (and other large firms like Grant Thornton, BDO etc.) recruit for 2L summer? I'm at GW but I don't think they come here for OCI at all. And anything else you can tell me would be great too—e.g, what practice areas hire 1st year associates?

I am espeically interested in tax, wealth planning and "private client services" like trusts & estates etc. FWIW

Thank you!

If your law school's institution also has a business school, and the business school has OCI, you may be able to snag an interview through it. My school has OCI for business students in September, and law students are allowed to participate. Law students in my class interviewed with accounting firms, consulting firms, large banks, and corporations--none of which participated in the law school OCI. Check with your CSO.

Hey BeeTeeZ,

That is a BRILLIANT idea! I never would have even thought of that. Hopefully my school will allow that, but it's definitely worth a shot and I'll check with CSO.

Thanks a ton, this is really helpful!
