Working as a Deputy Attorney/Prosecutor at City Attorney's Offices

Currently applying to jobs in the public sector, including City Attorney's Offices around my home state. I have a 5-10 minute phone interview with one of those offices next week. For added context, the phone interview is going to be used to choose the final 5-10 candidates for either a skype or in-person interview.

Can anyone speak to life/pros/cons of working at a City Attorney/Prosecutor's Office?

Also, should I expect any curveball questions in the 5-10 minute screener phone interview? Or should I focus on the obvious/major questions?

Thanks.
