Paul, Weiss vs Debevoise vs Weil

Trying to decide between Paul, Weiss, Debevoise, and Weil for NYC corporate. Would greatly appreciate any insight into culture, exit options, etc.

Basically the same. One caveat is that Debevoise has one group (PE) where it is legit the elite top tier in NY along with STB and KE. I can't think of a major group were PW or Weil can say the same. But really this should come down to fit because their corporate practices are of the same caliber.
Correct me if wrong, PW associates share interior offices right? I'm not sure if this is the case at Weil or Debevoise though.

Don't Weil associates share offices until at least 5th year?

I don't agree with this. PW and Weil are in the same bracket for PE as Debevoise-- and they are all a half step behind STB and KE. Just double checked Chambers, and that's exactly how they have it as well. Pretty sure Weil associates share interior offices for the first 2 years, also. Don't know about Debevoise.

Debevoise associates choose to either share an exterior office or get their own interior office for the first two years.

These are all great choices and you can't really go wrong.
One thing to consider is if you want to stay in New York long term. Both PW and Deb only have NY and DC offices, whereas Weil has 8 offices in the U.S. Not sure how easy it is to transfer between them, but it could keep the door open for you down the road if you wanted to leave New York.
Personally, I would drop PW off the list because it is more highly leveraged, and mainly known for its lit practice. Between Deb and Weil culture-wise, I would choose Deb.

True, but I think he was only talking about corporate practices
I’m the quoted Anon. Yes, I was just referring to corporate. But even in bankruptcy I believe KE is a cut above Weil.
