Accepting Offer After 2L Summer?

Should we expect to hear anything from our firms after accepting our full time return offers following 2L summer? Or maybe the better question is, what is the timeline to hear from them during/following 3L year?

If you accepted by email, I'd expect an acknowledgement in response. You may also be asked/invited to participate in recruiting efforts for next year's summer class. Otherwise I don't think you'll keep getting bombarded with emails... what do you expect/want to hear from them??
