Accepting Offer After 2L Summer?

Post by Anonymous User » Mon Aug 27, 2018 12:10 pm

Should we expect to hear anything from our firms after accepting our full time return offers following 2L summer? Or maybe the better question is, what is the timeline to hear from them during/following 3L year?

you'll hear very little, like little enough to start scaring you.

probably a christmas present, maybe a bar present and then at some point in the early-to-mid spring you'll hear about stipends or advances and then start dates over the summer.

You should expect to hear very little.

Some firms will send you a Christmas gift. But not all do. Other than that it isn't uncommon to have radio silence until April (just like for 2L summer). Congrats on the offer.

Do make sure to get (and keep) offer letter though. It will be helpful next summer when you're looking for a place to live.
