Where are you hearing that Cleary’s lit group is “weak”? It’s not. The backgrounds of the attorneys might not be as prestigious on average as they would be at a focused elite lit boutique but it’s not appreciably less prestigious than the other big elite NYC based firms.
Anyway, Vault is not a great metric. What’s the difference between the litigation Chambers rankings of Cleary and the firm you are considering?
