After making some tough choices, I think I've come to a final decision. I plan on signing my offer letter and sending it back to the firm. I was just wondering what usually happens next? Do I just sit tight and wait til next summer?

Yup. Your firm might send you some small gift like cookies or some shit after you accept or around the holidays, but other than that, don't expect to hear from them again until like March/April.
