How does a lateral junior associate fail due diligence? Minor example

Wondering if anybody has any examples of relatively minor things that made lateral lower level associate candidates fail the due diligence review (independent of conflicts check).
How high a bar would it be to actually fail and lose an offer?

Don’t know what that means. Got offer, going through diligence. Just scared of tripping at the finish line. Maybe it’s the boogeyman I dunno.
What would it take to fail one of these things?

What are these independent firms contracted to find (or try to find) on lateral offerrees?

I don't understand what you're asking, if you're not asking about a conflicts check. You mean things like credit score? I can't imagine an offer being withdrawn for something like that. If you're a felon, maybe there'd be an issue, but obviously you passed C&F so really it shouldn't be a problem. Some specifics would help give you a better answer.

Like anything in big law (once you get in), the bar is low and if you have a pulse and half a personality, you will be fine

This is what I wanted to hear. This is what my wife says. First time break into biglaw (from clerkship/govt), so I suppose I’m just nervous something will fall apart when I’m this close, as I’ve already accepted the conditional offer.
