Bar Reciprocity Advice

I just passed the Feb 2018 bar and found out that I can waive into MN based on my MBE score, I'm deciding whether to spend the money to do so.
My situation is I don't actually plan to actively practice law right not a firm anyway. I'm working on some other projects. I can foresee that I may practice in the future, however maybe no in CA, maybe in another state. The Minnesota bar seems to have many states that offer reciprocity, if I waive into MN does that mean I can practice in other states without being admitted or do I get automatically admitted into the other states.
I'm not entirely sure how reciprocity works, if I go to another state with MN bar admission, is it just the same as that states's bar? Lastly, I'm not too worried about the bar fees, I'll pay them.
Also, for CLEs, I plan to maintain in CA, I assume those same CLEs are usable simultaneously in other states?
Thanks in advance!
