Did I get dinged?

Interviewed for a lateral position in a very specialized practice group in a city outside of my own.
5/15 - In-person interview with three members of firm (two Associates and one person who was promoted to Partner earlier this year)
5/16 - Internal recruiter calls and asks how interview went. Told me that all feedback was positive. He then advised me that I would need to speak with an HR person for “fit” purposes and then I’d also need to speak with another Partner (X) in the group.
5/18 - Speak with HR first and Partner X later. Both calls seem to go fine.
5/22 - Reached out to recruiter and he advised me that the appropriate next step would be to meet in-person with the Partner who would be my manager. He asked how the call went with Partner X, first. Also note that My “manager” works out of a different office. Recruiter says he’ll reach out to me by the end of the week (5/25) with info on a date to meet with the Partner.
I have not heard anything. Did I get dinged or am I overreacting?
