Should I cancel this interview?

Currently, I'm a first year associate making $50k. I'm not actively looking for a new job, but I randomly got a phone call from the DA's office - civil division. The salary range is 78-83k. Without thinking it through, I agreed to an interview. It would require me to leave work two hours early, but I'm planning to tell my boss that I'll make up for it by coming in two hours earlier in the morning and skipping lunch. That's if I decide to go.
Is this worth it? In the past three months, I've had three interviews and absolutely no luck. I feel like employers blindly schedule interviews. That is why I stopped looking. But this is the DA's office. It is my dream job. I am just tired of getting my hopes up and wasting so much time. I've only worked at my current job for 7-8 months. I never took a day off but I left a few hours early one time for an interview. It ended up being a complete waste of time. I felt horrible because I absolutely hate missing work.
How do people manage to schedule job interviews when they're working 9 to 5? My boss is flexible but I feel uncomfortable about leaving early.
