Third Year, TX, Married with no kids. Take home is about $13,500/month after taxes, benefits, parking and 401K(5%).

$13k seems like a lot for a third year? 1st year pay at $180 is a little over 8K per month, correct?

Can anyone tell me second and third year monthly earnings in NYC? (190 and 210K, respectively).

depends dramatically on state taxes.

For NYC, back of the envelope calculation (from https://smartasset.com/taxes/paycheck-calculator)
$180k = $4,756k semi-monthly
$190k = $4,987 semi-monthly
$210k = $5,443 semi-monthly

This is before any deductions for health insurance, 401(k), etc.

3rd year in Chicago. Single. My bi-monthly take home pay will range from $5050 currently to about $6100 once I max out soc security (in August) and my 401(k) (in September - I currently contribute 12% of gross).

Texas doesn't have a state income tax.
