Munger Tolles Arbitration Clause

thoughts on this? How common is it for law firms?
Is this guy crazy, or is there actually a reason to be mad at this?

seems like pretty standard language, and most companies outside of law firms have this. I don't know enough about law firms to know if this is weird for them though.

Munger walked back on including these clauses and says it will not do so for any employees going forward:

I wonder how this affects employees who already signed contracts with the arbitration provisions. Also, this seems to set the new norm for biglaw firms -- don't include such provisions, or face being called out on Twitter/ATL. Time will tell how effective a deterrent such public shaming actually is.

There's been a pretty big drive for companies to remove compelled forced arbitration from harassment/discrimination cases. Silicon valley has been pretty receptive.
