This would never become law. States can't control someone's freedom to contract. See Lochner.

Citing a case that is effectively overruled is probably not the most compelling argument.

I don't understand. Lochner clearly stands for the freedom to contract principle.

Really going to depend on how stringent the retaliation protections are. Lots of us get 20 vacations a year. A lot of us volunteer, with no external pressure whatsoever of course, not to take all 20 days...
