2L w/o a job, at this point where should I be applying?

I do not have a job lined up for my 2L summer. During my 1L summer, I worked in-house at a large corporation. I knew that big law would more than likely be out of the picture because of my dismissal (at best) performance during 1L year. Thank goodness- I raised my GPA up, last semester significantly. I go to a school in the lower t-20, btw.
At this point, where should I be applying? Any other 2Ls in my position?

That depends on what you want to do and where you want to do it. If you want firm work, you should be networking as much as possible with lawyers in your target market. Many midsized firms hire their SAs in the spring, so it isn’t too late to start networking.

It's MBA recruiting season if you want a paying job. Recruiters will be receptive especially since you have in house experience as well.
In the small chance you go to WUSTL, get careerlink and MBA focus access.

I'm in the same boat.. and is it just me or does it seem like there's nothing to apply to? Is it just too early for spring?

Take the GRE, apply to other programs, and quit law altogether
