Current big law associate. Starting to consider an in house move. I know the basic routes to go in house (recruiters, alumni, firm clients), but is there a database or message board where in house opportunities are listed?

I have found my two in-house positions off goinhouse.com and indeed.com

also just searching websites for industries you are interested in. I'm in the financial industry and career pages usually have a lot of listings

Also, LinkedIn, and VentureLoop for start-up legal positions.

I found my in-house job by compiling a list of large companies with HQ offices in my target city. Then, I just trolled websites for listings. Once I found a listing, I tried to figure out who I knew at the company (even if it was a friend of a friend of a friend) who could help me get past the HR black hole to the actual hiring manager. Unless you are in a very broad specialty, it's not likely that there are more than a small handful of relevant listings at any given time.

Sorta similar to JD, I found my two in-house positions using Indeed.
